PRIVACY STATEMENT

Your privacy is very important to us and Chefnet WA will always act to protect your information. Chefnet WA takes this responsibility seriously and is very careful about how and when your personal information is collected, used and shared.

This statement tells you in general terms what our commitment is, why we need to collect personal information, who we may share that information with (outside of Chefnet WA) and how you may access personal information that we keep.

Chefnet WA is committed to complying with the Federal Privacy Act 1988.

We will take all reasonable steps to store your personal information securely. In particular, we want you to feel confident in dealing with us on the internet.

Chefnet WA Pty Ltd feedback, contact & application forms use a process called PHP, HTML5 and jQuery. All information passed from you to us in an encrypted envelope making it extremely difficult for this information to be intercepted.

What We Do With Your Information

Applicants for position will be stored for a period of no longer than 2 months unless you have been employed by us.

If you are employed by us, we will print the relevant information to be kept in your Personnel Folder. These records are kept for a period of 7 years in accordance with the Australian Taxation Act.

Who We Divulge Information To

  • If you are employed by Chefnet WA, occasionally our Clients will require your CV/Resume & relevant documents before accepting you to commence work on their site.
  • If a Government body requests information about you as one of our past or present employees, we must supply the requested information.
  • When paying Superannuation we supply/update relevant information to said Fund. This assists them & you in tracking your Superannuation entitlements.

Photos
This assists us with knowing who we are speaking to via phone & some clients require your photo for security reasons. Your photo would be downloaded once you start employment with Chefnet WA. Photos are to be of your face only and will not be published without your written consent.

Clients
Application for Credit/ Terms of Trade
We require the forms located under the Client Tab to be completed by you and forwarded to our office for storage. Signatures are required.
Your information is logged in our accounting system.
We open a Credit Account for you & contact your referees.
We would also act as a referee on your behalf should we be contacted by another company to do so.
We would forward your information to our external Debt Collector, should the need arise.
Your site details are supplied to staff booked by you.
